Alistair Hulett, Scottish folk singer

Don't know how many of you are interested in folk song, but I just heard the news that Alistair Hulett has died.
He was a gifted folk-singer, and also well-known in left-wing circles, I am very distressed at his death. I did have the pleasure of meeting him in person a few times. Here is a link to a valedictory blog.
