Umm, not sure about the Albert Hall (despite the huge part it played in my musical education - during the summer months anyway). Yes, the atmosphere is great and gallery promenading is a hugely entertaining way to enjoy music, but those horrendous acoustics and the strange acoustic dead spots ... and, for one night a year, all those horrific pogo-ing Young Conservatives ..
