Irate citizens have demonstrated their ire to Home Office Junior Minister Phil Woolas in a way that truly expresses their feelings:

Phil Woolas hit in custard pie attack

Woolas was president of the national union of students in my first year at university (1984).

The word 'git' could have been invented for him. I am surprised he has progressed as far in politics as he has, seeing as he oozes shiftiness from every pore. Politicians may be phoney to the bone but they are traditionally expected to at least try to give an impression of integrity.

The Student Union President at my Univ was some bloke called Roger Wright. He voted to prevent the Opera Society receiving any funding.
