Mauro Montalbetti: Dark Wood Dark Water for large ensemble (2007). It's not even that dark, actually.

I recall not being impressed with Erkki-Sven Tüür's Magma symphony when I first heard it. But after listening again, I found a lot to appreciate. And how can you go wrong with Evelyn Glennie aboard?

More Fausto Romitelli, from an excellent album -

Trippy like nobody's business as you might expect. The last note is funny.

Yes, it precedes 1999 by a few years.

I was recently the guest on a radio show. Club Mod on AllClassical 89.9 FM in Portland.

It was very brave of them.

Anyway, since I had brought some Romitelli to broadcast, and it was cut from the show, Herzeleide's post reminded me that since I never come over here to play any more, hardly, I also never informed y'all that I was a guest on a radio show recently.

You can still hear it, since the station archives its shows for two weeks. It first aired Saturday, so you have eleven days still. (Go to www.allclassical.org, click on Listen Now, then on Audio Archive, then one or the other of the Club Mods. There's no way to tell which one is the right one. If the announcer introduces Michael Karman, then you know you've got the right one.)

There's no Romitelli on the show, sadly, but they did let me play a lot of cool stuff.

I've tried several times over a few days to listen to the radio show on which you were a guest, some guy, but it seems these computers just aren't having it.

It's a shame.

Dunno.

It's there on the site.

And my computer likes to play it, over and over again.

(I'm kidding!)
