Mambo will become famous soon enough
Default Andre Campra

Here is a good piece by Andre Campra -
"La Fetes Venitiennes" (1710), that i heard awhile back
Quite remarkable that Campra lived to about 83.5 years,
for his period of time (1660-1744).
Must have had good DNA or was doing other things right at the
same time.

Excellent Choice of Musique! Have this Fabulous Work on Lyrinx Label along with Destouches Suites; two French Composers who influenced Telemann!Especailly in his Ouverture-suites, along with Rameau! BTW, One of the longest Lived of Baroque Composers was M.Corrette at about 95 Y.O.

great, Melanti. glad i'm not the only one who has heard it.
And a 95 y.o. Baroque composer - amazing.
I dont know what the usual life span was in those days - maybe
guessing in the 45-55 y.o. range.
