Well, here's a "spontaneous musical image" that makes me want to kill spontaneously (3/4, quaver-quaver crotchet-crotchet rhythmic pattern, allegro) :
E-D-F#G# / C#-B-D-E / B-A-C#-E/ A.....
Aagh !!!

Don't tell me you still haven't worked out the 'earworm' yet?
Musicologists thousands of years in the future will stumble upon this melody and say "Clearly, the modernist experiment started by the second Viennese school had finally petered out." Or something.

Poor Tarrega. I used to play the Gran Valse when I played classical guitar.

Well done Balthazar and Herzeleide. As your self-appointed admissions tutor, I am happy to inform you that you have both been accepted for the PhD Studentship for research on earworms. Philidor will be sending you a cheque for £15,590 (payable in new Greek drachmas) shortly. Your doctoral supervisor will be Ms Rebekah Brooks (contact details: rebekah.brooks@HM Prison Service.co.uk). You will kindly publish your doctoral thesis here on the BC Forum for peer review.
