Neither obtuse, nor rude, Scott.

I don't respond well to be told that I've failed, because I don't share the enthusiasms of one of our junior members. Let them keep that stuff for the locker room at their college.

I turned this piece of Grisey's off after 2:30 because it was clear it was going nowhere. I have a perfect right to do so.

Grisey is who? According to YOU?? Read your lectures to someone else. It's not obligatory to share your views.

Like I said - no matter what hokum theory is advanced for the composition of this piece, it remains simply a series of notes. Rhythmically this music is primitive, and could have been written in the C17th.

I'm glad you like it. I hope you enjoy it more.

You're now on my Ignore list. There's nothing you have to say that I can benefit from. Nothing.

I don't force or expect others to share my views, and I am not as rude and infantile as you are.
