Thank you Stephen!

I could add a lot of other ensembles. Maybe I'll do that in the future

Terrific work, sir.

When I have time, I'll copy across a large number of the links to ensembles to the 'Resources' page of my blog.

Fantastic! Thank you, Stephen.

There is also, of course, the BBC Proms in London from 17 July to 12 September.

The programme goes on sale on 10 April. I don't know if it will be possible to get programme details online before that date. I am really looking forward to it and aim to get tickets for the concerts we most want to see early this year.

Actually, I've just realised that the second the programme is announced, I can expect a deluge of spam from the Albert Hall in my inbox, so I will let you know.

Just a note to say that if anyone wants to copy and distribute the Brightcecila calendar, they're welcome. The point of such lists is to give publicity to the artists and festival organisers. The wider such publicity spreads the better.

Default Arkansas Music Festival

Hey, I get to announce something.

This is "small potatos" classical music but what's kind of neat about it, is that it's a grass roots effort. It's a 2 week festival in my town. No top talent but a chance to hear music we don't get to hear any other time of year.

For $150.00 (which supports the festival), I get to go to all the rehersals and shows. Also, they have several social get togethers where you get a chance to chat with the performers.

Last year they played Mahler's Symphony 4, and I see this year their playing the 10th Symphony.
