Default Brahms Guides--I hope you like

I am so happy that I found this group, and I hope you'll welcome me. I want all of you to visit my Brahms Listening Guides project, available at http://www.kellydeanhansen.com. It is in progress, but will be complete within a couple of years. The recordings used for the guides are also available, but you need to contact me privately to get them (either by email or private message here--my email is on the site).

I really hope that all passionate Brahmsians will visit my project and give me feedback.

Kelly

Cool! Looks like a lot of work has gone into this project. It's especially good for the lesser known pieces. Why not stick around and talk to us in the Brahms group?

Terrific job, Kelly! I very much like the idea of reading informations while listening. Very instructive for people whose focus isn't on structural details! Kudos to you.
Two things sprang to my mind, you might add easily to round up the purpose of your efforts:

I.) Links to the sheets would be helpful, the Musikhochschule in Lübeck provides them all. Or at least most of his works, e. g. the op. 108 (http://www.brahms-institut.de/web/bi...art_s_014.html). You might additionally think about some detailed images of at least the principal themes of some major works. A little bit of work involved, but a nice addendum. (Though some works certainly deserve the full program:

).

II.) The site is difficult to read, it's tricky to follow sheets, music and your remarks synchronously, a little bit work on the design would be very helpful. A little CSS file emphasizing the bar numbers etc...

Nevertheless - I really enjoyed your work a lot and will certainly learn more about some Brahms!
