What beautiful cats! This is my Minsky (hope the image thing works):

I also have a couple of little ginger cats called Klinsmann and Heidi. Heidi is quite musical. She likes to listen to me singing... well, usually. Last week I was practising Geist und Seele wird verwirret (no, I'm not actually that good, but my singing teacher is a tremendous optimist!), and she started causing a disturbance. For a moment I couldn't work out why, since she is normally fascinated.

Then I realised. She's a cat, not a dog. Of course she doesn't like me singing Bach. She'd prefer me to stick to Purr-cell.

Philidor... I am now laughing my socks off at the "radical feminist" smiley. Wonderful.

I do call myself a feminist, but only in the sense that I'm an everyone-ist. I'd like to see everyone treated equitably (which is not quite the same as "equally"), and if that isn't happening I may start to get political. But I really prefer to leave that to the cats if at all possible - they have some very interesting internecine politics. (See how I got back on topic quickly before really going off at a tangent? )
