BrightEyes is on a distinguished road
Default A classic beauty.. [stealth marketing]

On my lunch break...I've spotted this beauty:

This is not my video, but the "main character" is a great passion of mine. Such a powerfull appearance. And I see on the Jag website, that they have a "20 speakers B&W sound system". A bit of Stravinsky or some dramatico Pucinni wouldn't sound out of place at all!

Ha! Thanks for that. What a beast! I'm recently back from Wales where I noticed the almost complete absence of expensive cars. It noticeably improves the quality of life for them not to be there. Living in central London I see dozens of £40,000 cars, and usually a couple of £200,000 ones, every day. But when there they're not on display - and the wealth and lifestyle choices they represent - daily life becomes better for everyone. But it is beautiful.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...!

This is inside a tiny church in Pembrokeshire, spotted while I was on holiday.

I actively encourage all viewers of this thread NOT to buy the new Jaguar XJ. The vid comes from Jaguar's Youtube marketing operation and has also been posted on Talkclassical:

Hopefully, a Brightcecilia member who was about to buy one will see this thread and decide not to. Any member who's already bought one, if you take it back I'll let you have additional album space and storage capacity for an extra 100 PMs!

So you've exposed a stealth marketing operation run by Jaguar? It's suspicious that identical posts appeared on two classical music forums, each extolling the snob value of the new Jag's stereo.

BrightEyes? Are you employed by Jaguar? You know stealth marketing's illegal now in the EU?

It's looking that way.

I wonder how much more of this is going on and if it's official Jaguar board policy? Or just some over-excited marketing person? If it became generally known that Jaguar, or their agents, are using illegal stealth marketing techniques to flog their gas-guzzlers it wouldn't do them any good.

I've seen BrightEyes online since his exposure but he's chosen not to comment. Don't be shy mate! Please explain why this forum (and Talk Classical) should be a vehicle (sic) for your illegal behaviour, and Brightcecilia members hoodwinked so you can line your pocket.

Me too. But he can't comment now because I've just banned him for spamming (and changed the thread title).
