Amongst the new generation of pianists who experiment with more spiritual approaches to playing Haydn Dickenson seems to me to be striking the right balance between serious commitment to technical excellence and spiritual interpretation in his playing. He champions works of lesser known composers and combines them in concert programs with unjustly overlooked works by major composers. He plays regularly in London and on the continent.

i am glad when someone who plays an instrument succeeds to pass me
even his or her anger through playing when he or she tries to proof me that at least knows his notes like the majority of musicians do that is one point for sure that don't really should bother me, i also admire musicians who make mistakes in their playing
