Domingo-bashing in the press re: ability to run opera companies

I have my own thoughts about WNO, that primarily revolve around the fact that it is supposed to Americas' "national" opera company, but it engages way too many foreign stars, and gives American musicians little or no exposure, unless they are producing an American opera.

This trickles down to the staffing as well, and then you pile on the union-fueled bloated productions, and well, there is the WNO in a nutshell.
