Default UK Folk are so lucky!

http://www.latemusic.org/concerts/index.php

"Welcome to LateMusic.org! This is the new home for Late Music, formerly known as tha Late Music Festival. Late Music is an organisation that has one purpose: to promote and perform works by living composers.

Once a festival, now so much more.

The main focus of LateMusic is still the performance of new music, but now on a monthly basis, through the Late Music Concert Series. These concerts will chiefly take place in the Unitarian Chapel on St. Saviourgate, York.

The concert series comprises some of the most exciting performers around performing the works of living composers. "

We keep trying to tell our program manager who is based out of the Reuters Block in London, that we should go out there on business for the 2012 Olympics.

Instead, he said that he is going to come out here to watch the US beat England in the first round of the World Cup.

I remember my mom talking about the Canadian beer "Schooner". She insisted that the only thing it was good for was cooking, and she was Irish Catholic - if she wouldn't drink beer, you know there was something wrong with it.

My wife and I drink distinctly different stuff. I prefer stuff with taste, flavor, and craftsmanship. To reference Monty Python, she likes "Sex in a Canoe" beer.

Naw, let's just talk about the last olympics.

Canada - 14 golds. (most in winter olympic history)

UK - still learning how to skate. But don't worry, it's the effort that counts (not).

US - hockey...need I say more!

Btw, Canada is starting to think about this "football" game. Wondering if we should win it next. But, is it worth the effort, though? Bit of a sissy sport, really. Ouch, I hurt my shin. Oh, please throw coloured cards at that meany...look how much pain I'm in, rolling around on the ground.

Looks like acting school, not sport.

See, exactly! At least Grey Cup Canadian Football gets the sport... mostly right. I still don't know why you wacky Euros keep trying to sully the good name of Football by calling Soccor by that name.

And you leave Olympic Hockey alone, eh? What's that all aboot! We gave you guys a run for your money, and might have won that game were it not for brain fart by our goalie who had played his a$$ off (...if you excuse the first period). Boy, wasn't everyone shocked when Canada won gold. In Hockey. In Vancouver.
