This is all I can find. There is a pic of "The" Stone angel, although there is lots of controversy over whether or not it is really the one mentioned in the book.

You're absolutely spot on about Nunhead Cemetery, which I think is even better than Highgate (although I love it), which strangely you don't mention. I love Brompton as well, although it doesn't feel quite as rural as the first two. (In Nunhead you often feel that you're in the heart of Kent.)

My late mother is buried in Putney Vale Cemetery which, while not as scenic as the previously mentioned cemeteries, does have some distinguished occupants: Charles Dickens's son, Henry Fielding Dickens (who became Lord Mayor of London), Howard Carter the Egyptogist, Anatole Kerensky (Prime Minister of Russia before the Bolsheviks) and the wonderful folk-singer Sandy Denny.

Another magnificent cemetery is the Zentralfriedhof in Vienna (as seen in The Third Man), utterly misnamed, since it is on the edge rather than at the centre of the city. You can buy a paperback book listing all the famous people buried there (in the Ehrengraeber). Beethoven and Brahms are there (and a monument to Mozart), Salieri, Czerny and Schubert, not to mention Schoenberg, Hans Pfitzner, Ernst Krenek and Franz Schmidt.

To be honest, I've never been, despite my Marxist sympathies.
