Default Satie's Faction

Since there are a few people here who seem to like what I do, I thought it might be OK to start a thread where I would occasionally post updates about my projects

So here's what I have to offer so far:

- A first album of original piano music that is reminiscent of some of my favourite composers, like Satie and Chopin.

- An upcoming second album (May 17th) of the same kind, with 11 originals and 4 covers of pop songs (I'm still working on it - all feedback welcome).

- A few preludes for guitar & viola (teenage compositions that I just rearranged - still working on them too).

All these can be streamed for free there.

Now if you like any of these, how can you help?

- Please play my tunes once in a while at ReverbNation (see previous link). This will help me climb the classical charts and will probably snowball into a few more followers.

- Why not download my album from iTunes or CDBaby? (you'll find links there).

- If you like the 1st album, it would be great if you could write a short review at iTunes or CDBaby (even if you didn't buy it). So far I only got one (negative) review, which probably doesn't help.

- If there's a piece you like in particular, it would also be nice to post a link to it on Twitter or Facebook or whatever social network it is you're using. I suppose you might have friends who also have an interest in (modern) classical music.

Well, that's all for now I guess I'll be back with updates about the new album in a few weeks.

Thanks for listening,
Mathieu

If anyone's got any advice/comment on the upcoming album, now's the time. Hopefully it will be released on the 17th. An almost final version can be heard there: More Satie's Faction

Thanks to anyone who'll listen.
