Default Pachelbel Keyboard Music

A heads-up to anyone interested in Pachelbel keyboard music. The good folk at IMSLP have just added the keyboard music of Pahcelbel to their stable. The link is http://imslp.org/wiki/Works_for_Orga...elbel,_Johann). Don't be put off the the "organ" part of the title; it is the keyboard music and there are only two clefs.

It is a very clear scan, and pages seem to be at the same orientation. None of the crocked pages you often find in scanned music.

Certainly worth a look.

I have bought a copy of Hexachordum Apollinis played on harpsichord from a second-hand japanese Amazon store. What a wonderful compilation of variations!

Pachelbel keyboard works should be more well-known.

Excellent link.
And I can't agree more. Pach's keyboard works are awesome.

Its a terrible shame he's more widely known for that overplayed canon - which to my understanding isn't even really his.

His fugues are great to listen to and play.
I've learnt 3 of them and am now studying one of his fantasias.
