I've been an enthusiastic Opera user since about v3.0, and I still use it today - typing on it right now

They have moved on a lot from the early days, and all the bells and whistles (Flash, Java etc) come bundled-in the auto-install these days - instead of having to install them separately and painfully as in the Opera versions of long ago.

I think I had a little message pop up from Firefox telling me that there was an update this last time. I already have 3.03.

I don't know how usual these stats are for forums, but it makes sense for users to be more technically savvy than some, so tending to avoid MS Exploder, but here they are for the last 12 hours (courtesy of Google Analytics). I've never even heard of SeaMonkey. Note how Chrome's starting to penetrate.

Those are interesting stats Philidor. It would be interesting too to check in about a month and see what it looks like. Most of us regulars probably use the same browser each time we log on so the differences might be in changes out there. :sad2:

I've put a reminder in the calender for 13/11 and will post the stats again then.

It sure does -- a 20% jump in a month. Poor Bill Gates. He must be quaking in his boots.

By the way, I got a notification last night of a new update to Firefox. The new version is 3.04.

(Security and Bug fixes mainly).

Default Mozilla patches eight Firefox bugs, six critical

March 4, 2009 (Computerworld) Mozilla Corp. today patched eight security vulnerabilities in Firefox, half of them critical memory corruption flaws in the browser's layout and JavaScript engines.

Firefox 3.0.7, the second security update this year to the open-source browser, fixes about the same number of bugs that Mozilla patched a month ago.
