Default Man shot by Fox

YAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!!!!

No sympathy whatsoever. The gunman should take up stamp collecting, or listening to classical music, or growing flowers to give to his wife to show how much he loves her.

Quote:
A wounded fox pulled off a miraculous escape from a hunter - by shooting his would-be killer in the leg.

The stricken creature somehow managed to pull the trigger of the man's double-barreled shotgun as he was using its butt to finish the fox off . He's already hitting the animal with a bullet.

The unnamed hunter, 40, who had been hunting in the Grodno region of Belarus, remains in hospital with a rather embarrassing leg injury while the animal made its escape...

Men shooting themselves, with or without the help of a fox, is ALWAYS funny...

Well done, that fox.

I have a particularly soft spot for foxes, since one of them turned out to be the only wild animal I have ever managed to get a decent photo of. He posed for me most obligingly. I think he may have been expecting an edible reward, but sadly I didn't have such a thing about my person or I would have given it to him. I don't suppose foxes like the dried fruit bars I'm in the habit of carrying in case of dizzy spells!

Clever fox. Here in suburban Brighton we have lots of urban foxes, who often sun themselves in my garden:

What a magnificent animal. The thought of his being pursued by bankers on horseback is sad indeed.

Gorgeous! I don't have my fox photo handy here, but I'll post it when I get home.

Here's my fox photo:

I went to visit biharpist in March last year for a few days, and we went to Eltham Palace, which is a fascinating place. While walking around the grounds, we encountered this handsome rogue, who was only too happy to pose for his photograph. biharpist isn't the biggest fan of urban foxes because they raid her bin, but even she had to admit this one had style.

Default Yay for the Fox

Philidor:
If a fox can shoot a hunter, I ought to be able to figure out this site! Inspiring fox. I tried to send you this reply to your e-mail the "reply" button didn't work so am copying it here:
Philidor:
I have always enjoyed my visits to BrightCecilia and would like to be a more active participant - My limited computer vocabulary may be responsible for the fact that I find the site a baffling maze. The entire thing of "threads" etc. is daunting, and I am never sure I am navigating well, or indeed exactly what the heck I am doing once I get into the site. (I am making progress tho-I just recently learned how to do a simple comment on blogsites)- Going now for a new visit...Here goes>>
Wayne
Hope this works. My entire "Internet World consists of twitter, email, and just added blogging.
I'll get this thing figured out.

I spotted this magpie mobbing a fox outside a den. The den must have been empty as the fox didn't put up much of a fight.

This is a fine beast. Urban foxes used to be very timid but seem to be gaining in confidence around humans. There was a fox living in the grounds of Brighton Pavilion last summer who used to pose for the visitors' cameras.
