Today I've been stuck at home with a sort of poor relation of the 'flu - too feverish to go anywhere, but not so ill that I have to go and curl up in bed. This is boring, so after a while I decided to go and check YouTube to see if I could find some more videos to link from the website. Among others, I found this one:
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGIexrD_d-k"]The King's Consort sing Maurice Greene[/ame] I think it's gorgeous, but there is no indication of which recording it comes from. The quality of Robin Blaze's voice at the beginning of the extract suggests that it's fairly recent - 2006 or later. (Robin's singing changed very noticeably around that time.) It's not in the discography on my website, and this surprises me, because I thought I'd got everything that Charles had recorded with the major ensembles. I also notice from the notes provided by the person who are uploaded it, which are comprehensive regarding everything but the one thing I want to know, that Peter Harvey is singing bass on this recording. I didn't know he'd ever sung with them. Is there anyone here who can identify the recording for me? If it doesn't cost the earth I would like to order it, and even if it does, it ought to be in the discography!

Problem solved - I have managed to identify the recording, and it is in the discography (and, for that matter, in my CD collection).
This is the "filler piece" at the end of Handel's The Choice of Hercules. I knew the name of the composer rang a bell, but it's so long since I've listened to that recording that I had no idea I'd got that particular piece. The review I found was a bit dismissive about it, and admittedly it's difficult to follow Handel, but when you listen to it on its own I think it stands up quite well.
