I was having a dream that I was in the countryside having a picnic in a gloriously beautiful spot I know in Wales by a waterfall and babbling brook. As I slowly awoke (at 5:15 am) I realised that it was not the sound of a babbling brook. It was indeed a waterfall, however it was coming from the tank in the loft, straight through the airing cupboard and thereafter straight down to a cupboard in the hall where I keep bedding for guests.

I've managed to turn off the water and I am awaiting a plumber. My day will be spent washing and drying clothes, bed linen and blankets pillows and duvets kept for guests. On the bright side, it's a sunny day so some things are drying outside already.

I am sorry you are having those difficulties, Dame Hilda. There is nothing worse than plumbing problems.

Try to keep a song in your heart and think about real babbling brooks.

Best- I played an amazing show of Wicked the traveling Broadway musical!!!! Had a blast, and an exspierience I will NEVER forget!!!

Worst-on my way home from said amazing experience some jerk tried to run me off the road, ggeeezzzh ppl know how to kill a mood!!

Oh well, the night was too great to be ruined

Last saturday, last matchday in the league. My team managed to stay in the first league. Every year the same - a hopeless bunch of losers struggling for air in May. I was there.

Today is Memorial Day in the states, so my friends have off. We are all gathering in the internet and having a virtual cookout and watching the Van Cliburn afternoon session together. WOO!!
