Default Bad Pictures
Just an observation, but this forum has some of the worst pictures on display that I've seen anywhere. Bad portraits, bad nature photos, bad artwork... it creeps me out.

I guess that could go without saying. I was just wondering if anyone else got that impression (not all bad but as a whole they are a freak show).

Maybe I should have put this in the feedback section (it isn't really about the arts section, but is about art).

It's social media darling. People can post whatever pics they want (porn, gore etc aside). Plus it's not just about art - people share aspects of their lives, use albums for linking purposes, and for general, harmless, mucking about on the internet. But if there are site pics which make you stare - sickened, goggle-eyed, filled with Kierkegaardian fear and loathing - at your monitor, please say, and I'll see what can be done. The site should be a pleasure not a place of aesthetic torment!

I will admit to some of my Bath Fashion Museum photos being terrible. But then I did have to take them without flash out of respect to the fabrics, some of which are around 350 years old, so they're heavily post-processed in order that you can see anything at all.

That's the ticket!

NB Some of my pics are bloody awful. For example, these were taken with a cheap camera in poor light through dusty display cabinets. But it was the last day the gallery was open so the choice was bad pics or no pics.

You know what, several deleted pictures have been appearing (as a blank space) in the selection of members' album pictures.
