Here's the album - no pics have been deleted. Is your browser running censorship options, perhaps as part of an anti-ad or anti-adult content script? That could be stripping out photos, defending your morals... There are ten pics in that album. Does your browser permit you to view all ten?

I've always had this problem, but assumed that the pictures in question were set to private. When I clicked your link just now, I got an "invalid album" message.

I've never seen any of Maureen's pictures for this very reason.

I see your photos displayed most often, Philidor. Just curious, is that because of the number of albums you have or is it your status?

The problem's a conflict between two gobbets of code:

1) Privacy settings in profiles:

>> User CP
>> Profile Privacy
>> Albums

If "Albums" is set to other than "Everyone" it causes a conflict with:

2) Album pictures delivered to the front page. If someone has privacy settings to, say, "friends only" then the error will occur which Eves & Baroque Mongoose highlight.

The problem's in the code controlling 2). It shouldn't even attempt to deliver a private photo and 1) is doing its job in preventing the instruction from being fulfilled. I'm working on it....

Status isn't a factor. The explanation is (a) I've completely open privacy settings (except for maybe one private album of family snaps) and large numbers of photos - I've used the brightcecilia album system like photobucket for years.

Please: upload more photos and drive me from the page!

Both are fine. Just keep in mind we've 13 yr olds on the site so please err on the side of caution. I'm darned if I'm having parents after me, accusing Brightcecilia of depraving their offspring.

NB I've removed the front page pic selection until the problem's solved. It's not right that even only the names of pictures marked 'private' are displayed. Thanks for alerting me. But you can view recent, non-private, uploads by going to:

Perhaps you can also display the social group logos somewhere on the front page. That way the ones not associated with a forum would be noticeable. Just a thought.
