Default YouTube videos for help with singing practice

I find YouTube videos invaluable for helping me to learn songs, especially since my sight-reading is shaky at best. For the countertenors, altos and mezzos here, may I particularly recommend this gentleman? He's recorded every single one of the Schirmer Italian art songs. Here's one that I'm currently working on:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VpqCclm0fs8"]Talented countertenor who sings in his garage[/ame]

I usually find he has the version which is most suitable for my purposes - that is to say, it's in the right key, it's not over-ornamented, and I can listen to it without something about the performance making my teeth itch, which is an unfortunate hazard of quite a lot of musical YouTube videos. (I found another countertenor who sang this one, and his voice was lovely but his Italian pronunciation... ummm... needed help, let's say.) The only very slight problem I have with him is that he normally takes things too fast, but that isn't too bad, because once I've got used to singing the songs at his pace they sound great when I slow them down!

I'm not sure why I haven't recommended him before, actually. I think he's great, and he's been a fantastic help with these songs.

Certainly! You copy the link, and then you post your entry as normal, but where you want to insert the link you need to click the little icon that looks like a blue circle with two pieces of linked chain just below it (it's roughly in the middle of the line of symbols above the area where you type your post). A box will come up on the screen. Paste the link in there. It will then appear in your post with a highlighted area of text in the middle; type over that to give it the caption you want. (If you know HTML, it works more or less like a standard a href command.)

If that's not clear, do please let me know - I don't know what you do know and what you don't.

Beautiful! I love Monteverdi, and that is very well done.
