Thank you! You noticed me faster than I even added an avatar and a signature.

Well, about me... opera, mostly. Getting into Lieder lately - thanks to a certain sensitive, elegant gentleman named Ian Bostridge.

My current top 3 is Billy Budd, Don Giovanni and the Ring. But I love Verdi and Puccini too.

Wow, we have a Vautrin? So I'm not the only Balzac fan here.

I too have found that it's possible to be as obsessive about Britten as it is about Wagner.....
esp.l BILLY BUDD and PETER GRIMES.
