Question Where have all the good men gone?

The opera company I helped to form, and currently sing with, are in need of men.

Most notably, we need to find a bass capable of singing Henry VIII in Donizetti's Anna Bolena.

We're holding auditions tomorrow through Saturday, but basses seem to be in short supply.

That aside, we also need men for the chorus.

We're in Manchester. If anyone in/near Manchester wants to come sing with us, let me know!

(And if you're a woman and want to sing, by all means don't be shy...)

I thought this was going to be an off-topic rant on the lack of eligible men in whatever country...

we'll save that for later.

Good luck finding a bass
