Indeed! And in the interests of keeping the ridiculously high standard of music up, I'll submit this -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkUULYE-LAA From the DVD from this -  Not that I own this package (for some bizarre, unfathomable reason) but rather that the DVD that comes with it was released with the complete Miles on Columbia boxed set. As you are currently realising as you listen to the video of 'Footprints', the music is spellbinding and magical, where tunes are completely reworked and reharmonised and taken to far off places. Who'd have thought the tune is a blues? The DVD is completely amazing, even greater than the Plugged Nickel material - even more adventurous, far-out, with a maturer band and most importantly a Miles whose self-assurance and creativity betrays his good health. Also, Tony Williams is more explosive and extrovert and it just pushes everything, gives it greater energy.
