The Olympics of course is all about friendship, peace and I am sure we can look back to the 1936 Berlin Olympics opening ceremony to see how true that is . Strange that the media has a kind of amnesia on this point, but then again perhaps not.

In reality, of course. there were no incidents of racist abuse at all - it was all another case of the BBC making up news to suit its paymasters. |

No! The Olympics is supposed to be about internationalism. That's the point you numbskull! It's about world humanity coming together in an almighty, peace-loving, shindig. Not the design of your passport.... and the fact you were born in Bagshot. Read a book you sweaty oaf! I see Patricia Russell, daughter of Eric Liddell (the "Flying Scotsman" of the 1924 Paris Olympics, immortalised in Chariots of Fire) feels similarly: Quote:

city's venues. It seems like the competition is not as severe between some countries, as it once was - some may recall the famous ice hockey playoff game at Lake Placid 1980 with U.S. and U.S.S.R - as if world dominance by one country was at stake. In both winter and summer games, Russia and East Germany were always vying with the U.S. to show off their athleticism, with all three countries the top three in medal counts. Little Norway was right with them in the winter games. In the most recent games, it is U.S. and China - and they usually have the most entries. I recently heard a stat that there are 212 countries now - so most should be at the upcoming Games - even if only one entrant. Good luck London |

The BBC as we know is run by Marxists who regard all forms of national culture as the enemy. |

There's an agenda to promote wars led by the United States. I doubt Marxists would be involved in that. We have some members on this site who are part of all this - perhaps they would like to come forward and explain what it's all about? |

I agree both about the Marxist point and the US point.
So far as the US is concerned, it is an incredibly difficult task to assess how far the neo-cons and Zioinsts have effective power. It is true they have a lot of influence, but to say they are dominant would need to be proved and I think it's more complex than that. The primary aim of US foreign policy is to control the oil supplies in the Middle East and everything else as I see it is secondary to that. The BBC is an interesting case, because whilst in some senses it has a pro Palestinian agenda, there is also a significant Zionist component as well. I would take them to be, however, cultural Marxists in that they want to destroy what remains of British culture. |
