Confession: I stole, shamelessly, pictures from people's albums*, particularly micrologus so I'm surprised the Flemish Renaissance Crew weren't picked up. Please give me the names and I'll include them.

* Plus names of modern composers from HG's thread -- thanks Herzeleide & Reiner -- and the Women Composers and Conductors thread. Thank you everybody. It would have taken days and days to track them down otherwise -- an impossible task which simply wouldn't have got done.

Isn't it fab?

The e-card facility is just brilliant.

Oh, and I recommend adding the Cooliris widget to your browser. It's fantastic. In my job, it's going to be a godsend for quick illustrations.

maureen has a spectacular aura about maureen has a spectacular aura about
Default very cool

i have one thought
attribution where possible
it's more difficult with illustrations however with the famous paintings i think it would be lovely to indicate who the portrait painter was
most are not obscure and are probably indicated in the source material
