Who can join?
Anyone age 13 or over.
What can be discussed on the forums?
Anything legal and within the (minimal) forum rules. The emphasis is classical music, but there are lively general forums too, where members talk about whatever they want.
Is it snob infested, like much classical music?
No. Everyone’s treated respectfully and as equals, from professional performers to composers to music students to academics to amateurs to those who simply enjoy Rachaminov in the bath. There's a strong emphasis on classical music being for everyone.
Is it expensive to join?
Can I only post in English??
No. There are moderated foreign language forums in Dutch, French and German. Further languages will be added as moderators become available.
I’m a struggling musician. Can Brightcecilia help me?
Yes. We may host your work free of charge (MP3s of performances, PDFs of scores etc) and help you publicise concerts and find fellow musicians to collaborate with. We can help you build a website and may host it for you. Contact Florestan
